There is a Weed Among Us!

Yesterday we had an appt. for Brayton so we could get his Singulair filled for this winter (last year he took Singulair during the winter months and we didn't ever have to neb him!) After our wait of an hour and 20 minutes, the Dr. came in and said she could see by looking at him he was allergic to something. His face was puffy from it and maybe the purple under his eyes gave him away :-) She then looked in his nose and exclaimed, "It's swollen shut!!!" She was amazed he could breathe out of his nose at all. The most interesting part however, was since his last appt. in November of last year, he has grown 2 1/2 inches!! Just because Taite is bigger, it seems like Brayton doesn't grow very fast, except for when his jeans get short. LOL We are all doing well though despite allergy season.

Last night after our delay in town (after our long wait at the Dr. office, we waited in line at Mc. D's ~ Taite was really hungry for a burger for about 15 -20 minutes, we get to Target and they hadn't even started on Bray's prescription!) we were on a mission to see if we could help Amber cut the boys' hair using a clipper. They've had their haircut at least once before and it didn't go so well using the scissor. I was a little nervous because sometimes the sound of the clipper scares kids, but we stressed that it "tickled" and it went great! To my boys' dismay, they didn't have near enough time to play with Lola (A&J's puppy). We are going to have to label the kids like "Old boys" and "Young boys" or something instead of mine and theirs :-)
