Baby's Haircut ~ she is a little cooler, but surviving and we have some new clothes for her! She was NOT crazy about them and gave me "the eyes" that said "Are you kidding me??? My grandma saw her at Taite's birthday party for the first time and thought she was awfully skinny! WHAT?! The vet said she was in perfect shape and she just looks skinny because her hair is all gone :-)
Thanksgiving (no one got sick ~ Chris just had/has a cold) Taite ate a little less than he would normally, which was okay because nothing came back up. We played Farkle for the first time and it was fun! Taite had such a good time he even spilled his sparkling grape juice all over Grandpa (he had to go change)!
Black Friday (no incidents ~ other than a certain phone call at 3:30 to our house ~ Chris still sick, won't mention it) We thought we were going to be part of a riot at Toys R Us because some people were trying to budge in front of the line, but thankfully nothing happened there and we were home around 9:30. My best deal for the day (didn't really have much to shop for) was the dog beds at Menards. They were supposed to be $4.97, I thought, but rang up buy one at $4.97, get one free!
Taite's birthday party (a whole lot of playing and fun was had by some!) We decided to make homemade soups for Taite's birthday: Clam Chowder, Tomato & Vegetable Beef (any soup is good with homemade bread!) I think everyone enjoyed it and we had plenty left over so we froze it and we'll see how it tastes later too :-) Taite got lots of cool stuff including a Viking's Jersey he has been wanting forever! Well, since this year or whenever Adrian Peterson joined the team LOL
I love this picture because Taite was pushing Brayton aside and talking out of the side of his mouth for Bray to move so he could have his picture taken! It was too funny!
The other funny thing was aunt Carmen got Taite a "trick" card ~ you can watch the video on that one! Okay, I watched the video and I thought Chris was recording the whole thing, but he caught the end of it. When Taite opened the card, he was supposed to sign his name on this line (there was a cutout from the front of the card, so he was signing the inside). When he opened it up, it said "I have everything I could possibly need or want, so please don't go to the trouble of buying me any birthday presents. Your best wishes are gift enough." SIGNED ___(Taite)___
Another present Taite got was a nerf gun and that turned into a whole battle or something downstairs with all of the "weapons" they could come up with in the boys' rooms. Carmen, Grandpa Ken, my boys and the twins all joined in a time or two! Landen and Mason really liked this battery operated disk shooter! Here is a picture of Mason getting the aim just right so he could shoot Ken ~ It was hilarious!

Taite also got the Jenga game. Since you can't play it with one person, guess what Brayton did ~ built a castle with it!
The boys had so much fun playing Castle or whatever they call it that Brayton made me a crown yesterday too. I am Lisa the Snow Princess (do NOT confuse with the ice queen!) :-) I had to style my hair in the special princess hairdo and the fight, er. . defending was on! Chris joined in and a good time was had by all! Here's a picture of all of us (when Brayton saw it, he said "Taite you just about shot me in the head!" ~ there really wasn't any 'just about' in this picture!)
Tonight we took Taite out to eat for his birthday, at Olive Garden. Good thing that only comes around once a year. We had a really good waitress though and they came and sang, which was expected, but his face still was a little pink!
